Register Now for the 2017 LA Lit and Toy Show

Registration is now open for the LA Lit and Toy Show in March, 2017. You can register by clicking HERE

2017 will be the 34th year of the Lit Meet. In 2016, almost 2,000 people attended the annual Porsche and Vintage VW Literature, Toy/Model, & Memorabilia Swap Meet at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton Hotel. The meet had over 300 tables with tens of thousands of collectibles—posters, sales brochures, toys, models, factory gift items, press kits, technical literature, small trim items, and accessories for Porsches and vintage VW’s.

Survivor SC Update: Uh Oh.

With the engine out of our low-mileage SC, we could really take a look at all of the drivetrain and give it a once over. Unfortunately, one of our first checks—that of adjusting the valves—showed that we had an issue with our case studs. Several of them were broken.

We've finished up recommissioning and cleaning our 1978 911SC and it's ready to roll into a new owner's garage. It's a great runner—we took it down to Porsches 2 Ohio and enjoyed the down and back trip in this lovely Targa.

912 Rendezvous: 15 Years Strong!

For a number of years now, we’ve been attending the Porsche 912 Registry’s Rendezvous event. It’s somewhat telling that we keep coming back, as this event is certainly one worth putting on your calendar year after year. Admittedly we love Porsche’s 912 as an extension of the 356 line of cars, but it is often the owners of these cars that really makes the difference.

Pics from the East Coast Holiday

This past weekend, the 356 Registry held its 2016 East Coast Holiday in nearby Akron, Ohio. We invited folks up here for lunch and a shop tour on Friday and we attended the festivities in Hudson that night. On Saturday, there was the Concours at the Glenmoor Country Club. We shot some pictures, talked with a bunch of people and had a great time.
