Shipping & Delivery

Shipment for orders will be made via the most economical and expeditious means, unless special instructions are received. For U.S. and Canada delivery, UPS or Truck Freight are most commonly used. Truck shipments are generally made freight prepaid on a credit card. Crating charges may be added onto fragile or odd shaped items. Taxes, Duties and International Brokerage Fees Are The Responsibility of the Customer.

All overseas orders are sent via air freight, UPS International, or U.S. Mail depending on size. Air freight orders are sent freight prepaid. UPS orders are prepaid. U.S. Mail orders must be prepaid. Please specify preferred method.

Damage Claims:

The responsibility for safe delivery rests with the carrier after the order has been accepted from us for shipment. Should your shipment appear to be damaged or opened when received, check the contents in the presence of the carrier’s agent. Open package immediately and report any discrepancies to the carrier at that time. Shipping damage claims are only good for 5 days from receipt of package. Inspect all parts for condition and note any parts discrepancies with invoice. 

Privacy & Security

Your privacy is very important to us, and we take very seriously the job of protecting your personal privacy.  The information that we collect from you will be used solely to process your order and improve your overall shopping experience.  We will enter your email address into our system so we can send you newsletters and other offers related to Stoddard NLA.  You will have the option of opting out of these offers at any time. 

Returns & Replacements

If you have a part that appears defective or is not the part that was ordered, please call to discuss the matter, or obtain a return authorization. Returns over 6 months old are elligible for Stoddard Store credit only.  Parts over 12 months are not returnable.  

Returns must be sent prepaid and you must include your invoices. We will charge a 20% handling fee on all returns unless the merchandise is defective or was shipped in error.

The following terms of warranty apply to all Parts and Accessories sold by Stoddard NLA-LLC.

SIC warrants that every new and remanufactured part and accessory sold to a customer will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 12 months/unlimited mileage from date of sale of the part or accessory to the original customer.

Items Covered:

Any part or accessory sold by SIC that is determined by SIC to be defective will be either repaired or replaced with a new or remanufactured part. The labor required to remove, repair or replace the defective part or accessory is not reimbursable.

Items Not Covered:

Damages due to accidents, misuse or negligence. Parts damaged due to misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, alteration, accidents, or fire, or which have been improperly installed, or used in applications for which they were not designed.

Parts or accessories made out of cloth or leather (upholstery, convertible tops), wood, paint, or chrome which have been affected by environmental conditions, including, but not limited to, airborne fallout, chemicals, tree sap, road salt, hail, windstorms and other environmental factors.

Damage to Glass. Glass breakage or scratches are not covered unless physical proof of a manufacturing fault can be established.

Use of the parts or accessory in competitive events.

Any loss or damage caused by installation of an incorrect part. While SIC has made every effort to ensure that the information in this catalog is complete and accurate, please call us before attempting to install a part that you suspect is incorrect for the application.

Throughout the catalog there are notes that give technical suggestions; Stoddard NLA-LLC is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages pertaining to these suggestions. Some prior automotive experience on your part is assumed. When in doubt, or if you have any questions, please call us first.

To Obtain Warranty Repair or Replacement:

Present SIC with a copy of your original sales receipt, name, mailing address, phone number, date purchased and mileage installed, date and mileage of failure, VIN, and description of problem. Please arrange return before sending parts.

Warranty Period:

The warranty period begins on the date of sale of the part to the customer.

No Other Warranties Made:

This warranty is in lieu of all other expressed warranties of SIC or any distributor of SIC parts. Any implied warranty is limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. SIC does not assume or authorize any person to assume on our behalf any other obligation or liability.

Consequential Damage Excluded:

SIC is not responsible for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of the vehicle, towing expense or other incidental or consequential damage. 


To Expedite Your Order:

Have model, year and chassis or engine number, where applicable, available when placing your order.

Double-check your part numbers and application.

Have your customer number available when placing either phone or mail order. If you have not received a customer number prior to placing the order, we will ask you for your complete mailing address/shipping address, telephone number and Email address for our records.

Our professional staff can usually edit part number errors, but the responsibility for correct number and application rests with the customer.


Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Our prices reflect the quality of merchandise our customers demand. We believe in competitive pricing but quality is never compromised to offer lowest prices.

All prices are subject to change without notice. Invoices will be based on current prices at the time the order is shipped. We will gladly verify current prices by phone or fax/email.  In case of a pricing issue, Stoddard adheres to the “Unilateral mistake of fact doctrine,’ whereby the company can cancel orders and refund customers money because of pricing errors, or any other reason, i.e.,  part in question would normally sell in the $1000.00 range, and customer paid $100.00.

Payment Methods:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards, money orders, and certified checks. We accept personal checks, we do not ship C.O.D. Your credit card account will be charged at the time of shipping for only those items shipped.
