A friend of Stoddards, Dan Mainzer is working on a Concours-level early 914-6. We stopped by and took some pictures of the assembly project.
It is being done at Autobahn Extremist in Avon Lake, Ohio. Shop owner, Chris Moore is being assisted by our Mark Taylor during the final push to the finish. The hope was to have the car ready for the PCA Parade in Vermont this year. While it didn't quite make that deadline, Dan and company should have it out on the showfield soon.
