We started block sanding our 911 this week, after letting the 2k primer cure for about 10 days.
We've found a few spots that need spot putty on the basic 911 shell, but we haven't gotten to the fenders and doors, which will need a bit more work.
We are using a Durablock long flexible sanding block with 220 and 320 grit sanding sheets for this phase. Smaller sections and rounded areas are being smoothed with a red Scotchbrite sanding pad. The 2k primer is sanding very easily and we can easily see high and low spots as the primer cured with a glossy sheen. Neat stuff!
