The 356's disc brakes were fairly modern technology for 1963, so it almost seems hard to believe that pretty basic parts like the backing plates are no longer available from the Factory. We've got authentic replacements in stock that are an exact match for the originals.

Early 911 and 912 Decklids

The early short wheelbase cars used a different decklid than later years, incorporating a center bar that's very easily noticeable under the bright aluminum grille. It's really obvious to Porsche freaks at a Concours. Make sure you've got the right lid on your car!

914-6 Engine Sheetmetal

Following along in the 914-6 theme we've got going on lately—we are now stocking a complete engine sheetmetal kit for a 914-6 or 914-6 conversion.
Each part of the five-piece kit is bent and precision cut to fit the six-cylinder engine in the mid-engine 914 chassis.

For Sale: Togo 356 To Go

The gloriously period-correct shades of Porsche brown, like Togo are becoming more and more sought after. Here's a very nice 1965C that's been in the possession of the second owner since 1970. It just underwent a bare-metal paint job and a recent engine rebuild. We'd say this car is a deal at $65,000

Shed Some Light

It's a bit strange to call an interior light "iconic" but we'll say it. The rocker-style interior light was introduced in 1963 and installed on the 356C and early 911 / 912. It remained unchanged unti 1978 when Porsche superseded it with an identical light with a black bezel replacing the original stainless-trimmed style. The black version was used all the way through the 993 model run ending in 1998.
Our stainless bezel version is an as-original replacement that looks and works great, as it should.

Gear300LS for your Limited Slip Differential

Porsche has offered limited slip differentials as an option in the 901 915 and G50 transmissions since 1966. The ZF-style performance differential uses friction plates to "lock" the axles together and minimize wheelspin. As a result of their design, those plates can chatter at times, especially during low-speed corning. A good GL-5 75W90 gear lube with a friction modifier, like the Motul Gear300LS will help minimize that chatter and help prolong the life of your Porsche's gearbox.
