Establishing a Plan

Managing project cars is more than just tearing things apart, placing a big order for parts and hoping that things go back together as planned. You've got to establish a strategy as to how you want the project to progress. It makes no sense to bolt on the shiny go fast bits when you've got rust to repair—and trim bits shouldn't typically be installed until well after the paint cures.  It's that kind of thinking that has us laying out a plan that starts with a basic cleaning to establish an understanding of the car's faults and then progresses towards the rust repair.

Here's an example of what we're talking about.  It's a simple Word document that lays things out in outline form.
