Dana Point Concours Images

We sponsor the 356 Club of Southern California's Dana Point Concours every year and this year's event was an impressive success.  Here's a selection of our shots from the event—what a beautiful crop of cars!

The best in show was this stunner from Willhoit Restoration.

This Sepia 911 still wore its original paint.

As did this 1967.  Love the patina!

This Continental from Road Scholars was beautiful—finishing second overall in the Concours.

Some last minute preparation...

Road Scholars had this 911R and 904 on display, among others.

All through the morning, we sold raffle tickets for a set of our new KpZ-style Steel Wheels, benefiting the Dana Point Ocean Society.  Winners had their choice of 15 inch wheels in 4.5, 5.5, and 6.0 inch widths in either chrome or painted finishes.

The gracious, and fittingly German raffle winner, Joerg Hubl, pictured here with Stoddard head Bruce Schwartz.  Joerg is excited to get his wheels mounted on his 356, and will likely keep his smile for a long time to come.

After the raffle had finished and the winner was announced, Bruce made the surprise decision that there was another set of wheels to be given away that day.  The second winner, Tom Harbourne, was as surprised and excited to hear his name called as Joerg had been, and accepted his win with a giant smile and a round of handshakes.  Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to everyone who participated!
