Like this past year, we are organizing Bus Tours for seeing the Porsche sights around the 2018 LA Lit Meet in March. They proved to be very popular and we got a lot of great feedback from 2017. For 2018, we are setting up a schedule that includes the Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the event week. New this time is a trip to a new Porsche-themed exhibit at the Petersen Museum!
These radios were found in an NOS state and then remanufactured to modern electronics, including an adapter cable to allow iPod and other MP3 capabilities. We also offer vintage-styled round speaker and grille set, as well as a red- or blue-tipped Hirschmann antennae. They are the perfect way to update the sound and backdate the looks of your vintage Porsche. Please note*, we have just one of these radios in stock at this time; we expect it to sell quickly.
356 Side Trim—As Original!
For years, we have been selling 356 side trim sets that are polished with a clear anodized finish. The anodizing protects the aluminum from corrosion and dulling. However, we've had requests from some high end restoration shops for sets without the coating, so that they can be polished as the original ones were. We have a limited number of these non-anodized sets in stock!
If your 911SC or 3.2-liter Carrera was originally fitted with a "whale tail" rear spoiler, it also came with a small chin spoiler as well. This was used to balance out the aerodynamics at higher speeds. We have replacement versions that are sourced from Germany and are identical to the more costly Factory versions—both with and without the mounting hardware.
Factory 5-Liter Utility Jugs
We just got another shipment of these utility jugs in from Germany. They're made by the Factory and typically sold in Europe only. They come with two different spout sizes and a PORSCHE shop towel. We keep one in our trunk in case of an emergency.
Here at Stoddard, we understand that restorations can happen at different levels—this goes on beyond the level of "nice" or "really nice" finished cars. We're talking more like "crazy" and "totally nuts" restorations where you agonize over original stampings and molded in part numbers. For that latter mindset, we offer two different tunnel mats for the 356B. One is molded in Europe, has the correct pebbling and looks like what your car came with. The second version was made on the original tooling and has all of that original pebbling, but also includes the original manufacturer stamp and part number. It costs a little more, but we know we have plenty of customers who are totally nuts.
CarParc performed a complete bare metal restoration on this matching numbers, early March built Porsche 911 at their Costa Mesa facility—It's so simple and clean in its original Light Ivory color. The car is equipped with a Webasto gas heater and Blaupunkt radio and antenna.
