We have just completed our first batch of painted drum brake wheels for the 356 and they are now in stock! These wheels are made here in United States to modern production standards and they pass DOT standards with modern safety bead seats. The wheels come complete with riveted hubcap clips and they're finished with an excellent powdercoating that is an excellent match to the original satin silver. Our drum brake wheels are available in either 4.5 or 5.5-inch wide versions. Chrome plated drum brake wheels will be here shortly.
Pictures of Porsches at Parade
The 2015 Porsche Parade is off to a great start. Held at the beautiful French Lick Resort in Southern Indiana, the event has seen a great turnout of Porsche enthusiasts and their cars. The event began with a dinner on Sunday night, with Porsche AG on hand with the new 911 Carrera GTS Club Coupe. We are starting to upload pictures from our trip to the 2015 Porsche Parade today. They will be posted at the link below as we get them processed.
356 Tunnels of Love When a 356's tunnel is rusted, you know you've got your work cut out for you. We've simplified the process of replacing your 356s central tunnel by offering what is essentially a drop-in and weld it in place product. The tunnels have all the internal cable runs and bracketry already installed.
Tool Kits
We have tool and travel kits available for the 356, 912 and 911 that are concours correct or simply great to bring along on a road trip. We also have other tools, jacks and tire gauges to help keep you fixed up and rolling out on the road.
Four Cam Corner Finding parts for the famous Fuhrmann designed Four Cam Carrera motors used in the 356, 550 Spyder and the 904 can be difficult, but whenever we see something available from Porsche or our other suppliers, we snag them. These cars deserve the best parts and we try to maintain a decent stock to keep you on the road or track.
Concours 911SC and Carrera Dashpads
We don't want to ignore the later model 911s, especially since they suffer from the same common problems—like the dreaded dashboard crack. We've got excellent concours-quality dashpads in stock that fit great and look superb. Impact-bumper cars are being treated to full restorations now and this is a great way to finish yours off.
We've got another cool 914 product that's sure to pass muster at your next concours event. It's a pair of sunvisors, complete with a mirror on the right hand (passenger) side. The vinyl grain, hardware and pivot are all as original.
Correct 356C "Double Bubble" Door Seals
The last of the 356s—the 356C and 356SC—had unique door seals with a "double bubble" profile on the main bulb of the extrusion. We've recreated these seals for a perfect match to the original. They are by far the best late 356 door seals on the market and we've got them in stock today!
Adam Wright of Unobtanium Inc has a 1966 911 on eBay that's rather affordable—at least for starters. The car is described as very rusty, but surprisingly complete as it hasn't been picked over as a donor car. The auction has about 24 hours to go, so if you're interested—bid now!
