Beautiful cars, excellent weather and a record turnout. We've got coverage of our 28th Annual All-Porsche Car Show and Swap Meet online with hundreds of pictures. It's a great event and we're already planning next year's get together.
Speaking of Swap Meet: Shirts! For this year's swap meet, we once again enlisted the help of Nicolas Hunziker for our commemorative T-shirts. The multi-color 904 design is printed on a black shirt. Like all of our Hunziker and Stoddard shirts, they are made with a nice weight cotton and the screenprinting is excellent.
Some car shows can be snooty about their marques—especially when it comes to the sibling rivalry of Volkswagen and Porsche shows. The NorCal Treffen does away with this nonsense with a cool get together for all aircooled Volkswagen and Porsche cars. The show is August 2nd at the Dave Brubeck Park in Concord, California.
SWB Fender Reinforcing Washers
The short wheelbase 911 and 912 cars built between 1965 and 1968 used a rectangular reinforcing plate or washer to support the fender where it attaches to the unibody. We recreated these washers with precision-cut steel to the exact dimensions of the originals.
Weber Conversion Kit for 356 and 912 If your car is missing its original Zenith or Solex carburetors, you may want to just bolt on a simple solution. We have Weber carburetor conversion kits for both the earlier Zenith and later Solex equipped 356 and 912s. They come with the proper manifolds and jetting to work from the start.
Early 911 & 912 Bumper Brackets
Let's think about how much time you'll have in properly stripping, straightening, prepping and painting a set of early 911 or 912 bumper brackets. Hours for sure. Our bumper brackets are a new Stoddard exclusive production and will set you back just $54 for the pair.
What the Heck are Horn Grills? Here's a nifty factoid for you: Since air-cooled Porsches don't have radiators, there's no actual "grill" as seen on most automobiles. Without that grille in the front of the car, there's also no traditional opening for the sound from a horn to resonate forward—hence the smaller horn grille that's seen on the 356 and 911 or 912. We've got Factory and our own authentic replacement horn grilles for your vintage Porsche.
356 Glass—Windshields and More.
Stoddard is a great source for 356 glass, window seals and trim. We've got windshields, door and side glass, as well as back windows in stock for nearly every 356 application. If you've got scratched, pitted or chipped glass—we can take care of you!
914 Bumper Dogbones Porsche engineers used dogbone-shaped rubber mounts to cushion the front and rear bumpers on the 1970 to 1974 914 models. These dogbones haven't been available new for years—but we've got them back in stock for your 914. We sell them in pairs, so buy two sets if you're restoring your car completely.
Early Seatbelt Component Washers
Porsches rarely remained in as-delivered form back when they were new. Racers and "wannabes" typically yanked out the stock seats and seatbelts for sportier stuff—which can make a restoration more of a scavenger hunt. We've recreated the original cupped washer and spacer found under the seatbelt mounting hardware on 356C and early 911 / 912 cars. One set is required per mounting point—six required on most cars to do both seatbelts.
