The winning car from our "We Can Save Them All" contest was a really big project and not for the faint of heart. We knew that from the start, yet it's always a little surprising when even more rust is found—despite the fact that the car was a sandblasted-bare shell.
Stoddard Exclusive: "S" Trim Decos for LWB 911s...
We just released a new rear bumper deco for the "S" trim 1969-1973 911s. These are as-original and recreated using an New Old Stock example. The aluminum is finished in a bright-dip anodizing as original. We're offering them at a considerable discount from the current Factory offering and they're quite a bit nicer than the reproductions on the market now.
914 Factory Windshield
We're pretty sure that every hardcore 914 enthusiast is secretly hoarding as many of the hard-to-find parts they can find in case of an accident or restoration. That's particularly apparent in the case of the windshield, as these have been hard to find for years. We've got a Porsche Factory 914 windshield in stock and ready to ship safely to you—no need to keep one stashed in your spare bedroom.
Porsche's annual calendar is a great way to liven up your office. The monthly images are simply stunning and the calendar days are large enough for you to write down important notes.
New 914 Products In The House
In addition to our own new part development, we constantly scan Porsche's warehouses in Germany for cool new parts. We recently ran into a pile of new bits for the 914 (including the windshield listed above). You can see more of the new Porsche Classic parts on our website.
The beauty of a vintage Porsche is that it's not only a sports car, but a usable car for long trips. Of course, you'll need to bring along luggage and who wants your suitcases sliding around when you take those hairpins? Our authentic replacement luggage straps are made out of high quality thick leather and they're a great fit for the 356 or early 911 and 912. Black or Tan sets are available.
Special Sale on SSI Heat Exchangers Yes, we know the heat exchangers on a 911 were originally painted grey. We don't care. SSI heat exchangers are stunning works of art and they look great in their gleaming bare stainless steel construction. They're not painted or coated in any way as the stainless steel will never rust. And now they're a bit more affordable!
Are you fixing up a later 356 that's had some bumps and bangs on the front? We've got both half nose panels and this full width nose panel from Porsche that's an excellent way to fix your 356 properly. The stampings are all as original and while this isn't a job for the amateur, the full nose panel makes the metalwork much easier.
Porsche Carrera 3.0 Emblems Before we saw the 911SC in 1978 here in the United States there was the Carrera 3.0. This special car was introduced in 1976, with a 3.0 liter engine and a lot of the earlier 911RS features. Just 3687 of these cars were built; you can find out more about them HERE. Of course, you can also put one of their unique Carrera 3.0 badges on your 911SC for a bit of throwback charm.
