2016 East Coast Holiday Plans Announced!

Mark your calendars for September 8 - 11, 2016 and join us in nearby Akron, Ohio for the 356 Registry's East Coast Holiday. Organizers led by Roberta Heller - who gave us the sensational 2010 Holiday in Cleveland - are planning an autocross, a concours at the fabulous Glenmoor Country Club, Tech Sessions led by Chuck Stoddard, and some activities unique to Akron (think Goodyear blimp and Soap Box Derby). A very nice host hotel has been chosen with accommodations for a large group, but be sure to register early. More information and registration will be available soon at

NeuTek Cams for Stock or Big Bores

We are a stocking dealer for NeuTek's custom range camshafts, all ground on new wide lobe billets. These camshafts are not 'regrinds' - but chilled iron blanks that are custom ground to dimensionally-correct specs, and designed to retain hardness depth. Grind profiles have been developed under actual operation conditions and in vintage racing. All camshafts are delivered with timing and degreeing-in specs, assembly lubricant, and installation instructions.

Distributor Cap Clips

We all know that we should replace our distributor caps and rotors during the normal course of maintenance and tune-ups—but each time we unclip those spring-steel clips to expose the inner workings of the distributor, we use up a little bit of the "springiness" (that's the technical term) of those two little clips. We've got new distributor cap clips in stock for both early and later 911s.

Available Again: 356 Thermostats!

Thanks to its simple aircooled design, the 356 and early 912 engine doesn't have coolant flow or a traditional thermostat to control how things warm up. However, there is a thermostat that controls the pre-heat flappers to feed warm air to the carburetors. These haven't been available new for years—until now!

The chances of your original hood or engine lid struts still functioning properly is somewhere between zilch and none. So we recreated the original gold foil sticker found on the struts on early 911s and 912s so you can make any modern strut look just like your long-gone Factory version. How cool is that?

The black plastic switch bezels found on early 911 and 912s have been unavailable from the Factory for years—which is a bummer as they crack very easily if you overtighten them. We've recreated the tooling and now have them available for you!

Well Sold—and Well Bought?

There are two things that constantly amaze us about the classic Porsche community: The fact that these cars are still be dragged out of barns and that folks are willing to pay crazy money for these crusty hulks. That said, we were expecting big numbers for this barnfind Speedster, so we weren't surprised when the eBay auction ended North of 150k—it's still a financially viable proposition to restore this car to its former glory.

We are among the world's largest distributors of Porsche Classic Parts as well as the largest dealer for Porsche-specific Konis.
Those two world's are colliding with two of the latest part numbers from Porsche Classic. Front and rear Konis that are painted the the original medium blue, as some were back in the day.

Early Cab Door Window Seals

Our latest rubbery bit for vintage Porsches is the side door window seal that fits onto the Cabriolet top mechanism. The grey seal is appropriate for 356 Pre-A and 356A T1 Cabs. We trimmed it a little long so you can fit it properly to your car and then trim off the excess. This complicated extrusion is as the original was in contour, color and durometer.
