First Shipment of Parts for the We Can Save Them All Winner!
We have just packed up the first of several shipments of parts for Trevor Gates, the winner of our "We Can Save Them All" contest. He will soon be receiving a pair of our bumpers, as well as a floor pan, battery box and bumper brackets. That shipment and the remainder of the $5000 for sheetmetal will go a long way towards getting his three-piece 356 back in one piece. |

Not Glamorous: Rocker Shafts.
Not many people wake up in the morning and say, "You know, I could really go for some rocker shafts—and let's make sure they're hollow like the originals." But that's exactly what our New Product Development guy said a few months ago—and now his wish is a reality. We've got a new selection of both short and long rocker shafts in the original hollow design in stock. They're for the later 356 and 912 engines with alloy rocker shaft supports.
| Drive Your Porsche, Win a T-Shirt The 356 Registry holds an annual "Drive Your 356 Day" in September. This year it's on the 20th—but we'll go out on a limb and say it's a good day to drive any Porsche! If you're a Registry member out and about in your 356, don't forget to snap a picture! The 356 Registry is accepting one image and caption by email per member until September 28th. You can submit the picture to the Registry here. We like this idea so much that we're going to expand it somewhat. If you've got your Porsche (any model) out that weekend, send a picture, caption and your postal address to us here at Stoddard. We'll pick the top five images and post them online—and we'll send the winners a free Stoddard Authentic Parts T-shirt. |

We knew that from the start, yet it's always a little surprising when even more rust is found—despite the fact that the car was a sandblasted-bare shell. |
| 2016 East Coast Holiday Plans Announced! Mark your calendars for September 8 - 11, 2016 and join us in nearby Akron, Ohio for the 356 Registry's East Coast Holiday. Organizers led by Roberta Heller - who gave us the sensational 2010 Holiday in Cleveland - are planning an autocross, a concours at the fabulous Glenmoor Country Club, Tech Sessions led by Chuck Stoddard, and some activities unique to Akron (think Goodyear blimp and Soap Box Derby). A very nice host hotel has been chosen with accommodations for a large group, but be sure to register early. More information and registration will be available soon |
