Accelerator Rod Link, Metal Encased, Fits 356, 911, 964 993 1965-1998

For all 356A thru 356C, this is a fail-safe connector from the accelerator tunnel rod to the bell crank at the transmission. The outside steel sleeve encloses an internal rubber connector. Molded to each end of the rubber inserts are metal plates, threaded for the rods. If the rubber were to fail, the the outer sleeve will contain the insert and the car is still driveable.

This steel sheathed connector is 37 mm long.

Used in conjunction with the late, shorter accelerator rod NLA-423-135-00 when replacing the solid metal connector on A – BT5 cars.
