This seat base bracket is made of metal and can accommodate a sports seat. This faithful replica is ideal for restoring the interior of your Classic: this high-quality part is designed and adapted to fit as originally. It is an exact reproduction of the steel frame used in the 356B GT cars, strong and robust. Ideal for replacing the wooden frames of Speedster models or for your "GT Racer" for example.
The bucket seats in Speedsters were mounted to wood frames with hinges to allow tipping forward. In addition, not original but stronger, we inventory welded steel and aluminum versions. These have the additional benefit of lowering the seal by almost two inches.
