This is a remanufactured vintage original 1960s Blaupunkt 6V – 12V “Spannungswandler” voltage converter. These devices were and are used to enable the use of 12 Volt radios in classic cars from the 1940s through the 1960s, which have a 6V system, such as the Porsche 356.
