We are pleased to provide new push rods of the highest quality. Also suitable for racing engines running at high speeds. Much stronger aircraft type alloy material (AA2124 T851)
much lighter to keep the reciprocating mass to a minimum, thin to ensure that they do not
touch the oil return tubes. (Some initial B push rods had that problem)
The standard length is 256.7 mm (10.106"),
The standard length is suitable for ALL 356 engines, whether the cylinders are made of cast iron or alloy!
Many of the older push rods are slightly bent and the oil ways are blocked up. For any thorough
complete engine rebuilds, the push rods have to be replaced.
For all 356A thru 912 engines --- Here we present a set of custom pushrods made in Switzerland by JPS. These are made of stronger material than stock rods -- AA2124T851 alloy -- and are lighter than stock. The special alloy allows correct fitment to all 356/912 engines regardless of cylinder material. Length is the standard length, 256,70 mm. If there is any chance one of your pushrods is bent even slightly, we recommend replacement with these pushrods -- price is less than stock Porsche versions.
