Sterling is working on the wiring of his 911. He started out doing one thing and wound up doing a whole lot more. A few pictures tell the story.
According to Sterling: “You may ask what was being accomplished in these pictures. I forget. There was a project to install headlight relays. There was a project to install the Webasto fresh air blower. There was the project to clean up the splices in the instrument wiring. There was the project to install the inertia switch and rabbit-style fuel pump relay. I also replaced the instrument light power wires with the proper color. I collect old wiring harnesses and strip out the useful wires and connectors. I also bought a genuine German ratcheting crimp tool for uninsulated spade connectors. The uninsulated spade connectors were found in an electronics / hobby store in Munich…”
