Survivor SC -- Starting Work

With a car that's been sitting for years (decades?) the first thing to understand is that you're not just going to put a fresh battery in it and turn the key. There's a lot of work to do—and it starts by removing the gas tank and the engine.

356 Pedal Boards

The phrase "Pedal to the Metal" isn't so appropriate in a vintage Porsche. "Foot to the Wood" would probably make a whole lot more sense, as under the carpet there's some thin laminate wood boards that the protect the inner pedal workings and give shape to the car's floor. We have recreated a variety of these floorboards with the correct profiles, thicknesses and bends to make your interior restoration absolutely perfect.

644-503-011-01-GRV Complete Nose Panel for 356A

Factory 356A Nose Panels In Stock!

Replacing the entire nose on a 356 is never a minor undertaking, but if you're going in deep on a restoration, why not make it as easy as possible?
The Porsche Factory has re-introduced the full front sheetmetal nose panel for the 356A. This very accurate stamping has the modern OE-style E-Coat finish and fits up to a 356A with relatively little effort.

Bruce Schwartz on Cars Yeah! Podcast

While we may love our vintage cars, we recognize that modern technology and trends have improved our lives.  Podcasts offer an audio-only entertainment that can be enjoyed while driving to work or on a weekend run.
Our Bruce Schwartz was interviewed on the Podcast Cars Yeah! last week. You can hear the interview, as well as those of a lot of other influential car people on the Cars Yeah! website.

SIC-602-502-01 Ignition Coil, Black 12-Volt for CDI Ignition 911 1969-1983

Ignition Coil for CDI-equipped 911s.

Ignition coils for early 911s are hard to find—and it's even harder to find ones that are reliable.  We've sourced new coils that are made specifically for the CDI cars (so technically that makes it a transformer, not a coil...)  Dimensionally, they are a little shorter than the originals, but we've been pleased with their performance.

Bottom-Mount Fuel Level Sender

Sometimes the Factory realizes it makes a mistake and updates a car on a running basis in between model years. The early 356B T6 had a bottom mounted fuel level sender that was prone to failure. It was quickly replaced with a top-mounted sender for subsequent cars. But what about those cars that still have the bottom mount set up?  We have new VDO sending units that are much more reliable than the originals and are bolt-in replacement.

Stoddard Swap Meet Pictures Online!

We had another great Swap Meet this year.  The 2016 event was our 29th annual event and once again, we had our vendor spots sell out—we even added a bunch of new spaces!

For the car show portion of the event, we had our guests choose the top three cars by a Peoples' Choice vote.

For Sale: Barnfind Karmann Hardtop

There was a really solid looking 1961 Karmann Hardtop at our Swap Meet this past weekend.  It had been stored for a quarter of a century--and towed out just for our show. They were asking $65,000 for the time capsule.  We think it would look beautifuly restored back to its original Aetna Blue...
