This steel cap is specific to the Porsche application; it is not the VW part found in VW link pin kits. It functions as the sealing surface for the link pin grease seal (644 41 409). The “bumps” go into the split in the control arm. This is a Stoddard NLA exclusive replacement part. Surface finish is grey phosphate. This cap is included in our complete link pin kit: 695 341 993 00.
